Protecting Your Money

Protecting you, our customer is forefront of our business. Looking after your money is a no brainer! This is how we do it:
- You are financially protected by ATOL, ABTA, our own insurance and even in most cases your credit and debit card. The financial protection we offer our customers is second to none across the travel industry.
- When you make a flight + hotel/tour/tailormade booking your money goes into our TRUST account, a prerequisite of our ATOL certification. This bank account is entirely separate from The Holiday People and run by Trustees. It is a holding account for your money.
- For Hotel Only or Tour Only booking we have what’s called a Client Account at our business bank. As the account name suggests, this is for Clients (or customers) money to be deposited into when making a booking.
- We don’t hold your money for any longer than is needed. We try to keep our payment terms as low as possible.
- We only work with trusted partners with a track record of providing exceptional service over a number of years. This ensures that the companies are as stable as possible and we’re constantly working with our partners to ensure our customers are satisfied.
- We ensure all our providers have the current protection in place to ensure your money remains safe and secure.
- We try to ensure our payment terms are as favourable as possible for you. That means allowing you to book your trip with a low deposit, enabling you to pay in monthly instalments if needed and allowing you to pay the final balance as close to departure as possible.
