This multi-sport trip is the perfect adventure week for you in Costa Rica. 7-days of adventure and nature tours: whitewater rafting, hiking in the Arenal Volcano and the Monteverde Cloud Forest, horseback riding, and zip-lining. Everything included in this program. This is an ideal program for young couples, groups of friends, adventure lovers, and active families traveling with teenagers.

This is one of our flexible tours, meaning you won't be with a set group and tour leader for the duration, instead, you will be met at your hotels by a driver and/or guide every step of the way, and will have the chance to meet new people on each daily tour or excursion. This gives you not only the flexibility of free time away from a set group, but also the opportunity to meet a new expert local guide at every step of your journey.

Day 1: Welcome To Costa Rica!Arrival Day
WELCOME TO COSTA RICA!

We’re so happy you’ve chosen our country for your adventure. You’ve arrived in a land full of nature, culture, and Pura Vida, where every moment can become an unforgettable experience.

When you arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport, our professional driver will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name, making it easy to find us. They will assist you with your luggage and take you comfortably to your hotel in San José. This private service is designed to ensure a smooth journey and a warm welcome to our beautiful country. The drive typically takes between 25 and 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you don’t see your driver upon exiting the airport, don’t worry—please wait a moment and call the agency’s emergency number. Please, do not go with another driver, your safety is our top priority!

Day 2: Whitewater Rafting At Pacuare River - Regular
Early transfer to the Pacuare River, located in the Caribbean slopes. You will raft through the incredible rainforest on 19 miles of Class III-IV whitewater. Cascading waterfalls, lush forests, exotic plants, birds and other animals, and exciting rapids make this a tropical adventure packed with rich experiences that you will remember forever. A delicious lunch will be waiting for you at the end. Then, you will take transportation to your next destination, the Arenal Volcano.

Meals: breakfast, lunch. Fortuna Downtown Boutique, or similar (Standard Hotel, 3 Stars).
Day 3: Arenal Volcano Walking Tour & Hot Spring Resort - Regular
Enjoy a leisure morning. In the afternoon, you will walk along the old lava beds and learn about the volcano, the tropical forest surrounding it and the abundant wildlife from an informative guide. Following the tour of the volcano, you will visit a beautiful hot springs resort, where you can recover all your energy and strength for the rest of your trip. A delicious dinner is included at the end. Meals: breakfast, dinner. Fortuna Downtown Boutique, or similar (Standard Hotel, 3 Stars).
Day 4: Van - Boat - Van Transfer & Horse Riding In The Cloud Forest
Let’s go to your next destination, Monteverde Cloud Forest. Van-Boat-Van transfer from Arenal Volcano to Monteverde, crossing the Arenal Lake by boat. In the afternoon, you will ride a meek horse across the magical cloud forest, admiring the most astonishing landscapes in the area, the sunset looking at the Nicoya Gulf is priceless.

Day 5: Canopy Tours And Hanging Bridges Guided Walk - Regular
Have you ever thought about how is to fly like a bird? This is your opportunity to fly over the canopy trees and experiencing all your adrenaline to the top. This is a very fun and safe zip line tour. Then, get your boots ready to walk along the hanging bridges of Monteverde. It consists of a combination of trails and seven bridges where you will have the opportunity to explore all the levels of the cloud forest, as well as the habitats of every single one, starting from the ground and getting to the top of the great trees. Meals: breakfast. Monteverde Country Lodge, or similar (Standard Hotel, 3 Stars).
Day 6: San Jose
Today, you will have a transfer back to San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. Enjoy the rest of the day is at your own pace, eat at a local restaurant or just relax at your hotel. Meals: breakfast.

All good things must come to an end, and it’s time to say goodbye to this magical land and its wonderful people.

Our professional driver will pick you up on time in the lobby of your hotel in San José, assist you with your luggage, and take you comfortably and safely to Juan Santamaría International Airport. We recommend being ready ahead of time, and remember to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight to avoid any last-minute stress.
