Italy doesn't do quiet entrances, and neither does this trip. Watch glass take shape in Murano's furnaces, eat your way through Bologna's backstreets, and let high-speed rail carry you like a local. Hike Tuscan hillsides from Panzano to Montefioralle, toast at Molino di Grace winery, then let Rome's ancient secrets — Vatican included — close things out properly.
