  Today, you’re guided through Hanoi to see the life and heart of Vietnam - beyond the main sights and into the rhythm of everyday life. Head into a local neighbourhood rarely visited by tourists, where narrow alleyways, small markets, and community life unfold around you.

  You'll wander through bustling local markets filled with fresh produce, street snacks, and the sounds of daily trade, before continuing on foot through hidden backstreets and quiet temples. Stop for a drink of coffee and juice by the lake, taking a moment to watch the world go by and soak it all in.

  A real highlight comes as you’re welcomed into a local family home for a home-cooked lunch - a relaxed, authentic experience that offers a genuine connection to Vietnamese culture.

  Return to your hotel in the afternoon with time to unwind. The evening is free - whether you head out for more adventures or keep things easy after a full day.

  Day 3: Day 3 – Journey to Ninh Binh your First Countryside Glimpse

  This morning is yours to wake and enjoy Hanoi at a slower pace before departing the city. Around midday, leave behind the buzz of Hanoi and travel south into the countryside.

  As the scenery begins to shift, busy streets give way to open landscapes, rice fields, and dramatic limestone peaks rising from the ground. Arrive in Ninh Binh and settle into your peaceful luxury resort surroundings - a complete contrast to the city and perfect time for those sunset swims to take in the scenery.

  Day 4: Day 4 – Boats & Limestone Giants: Exploring Tam Coc's Rivers and Caves

  Today is all about one of Vietnam’s most iconic landscapes - and seeing it the right way.

  Step aboard a small rowing boat and glide gently through the waterways of Tam Coc, passing between towering limestone cliffs, rice paddies, and through hidden caves. It’s calm, scenic, and surprisingly engaging for all ages as you drift through this natural wonder.

  The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace - whether that’s pool time, a bike ride, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Ninh Binh is all about slowing down and soaking up nature at its best, so take the time to enjoy it.

  Day 5: Day 5 - Tracks to the Tropics: An Overnight Train Adventure

  Enjoy a relaxed morning before beginning your journey south. Transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon, where a very different kind of experience awaits.

  Board your overnight train and settle into your private cabin - a fun and memorable experience, especially for kids. As the train rolls out of the city and into the night, watch the changing landscapes fade into darkness and enjoy the adventure of travelling Vietnam by rail.

  Say goodbye to Hoi An and transfer to the airport for your flight south.

  This morning, leave the city behind and journey deep into the Mekong Delta - a world shaped entirely by the river.
