Then comes the pinnacle: standing in the Blue City of Chefchaouen as the world slips into darkness during the 2027 total Solar Eclipse. Days 1-0: Casablanca: An Introduction to MoroccoArrival Day
As you journey from the airport to your hotel, images of desert palms, camels, and exotic cuisine dance in your mind. The bustling city unfolds before you, a captivating blend of ancient structures and modern buildings that narrate its vibrant history. Welcome to Morocco – prepare to be enchanted by its rich cultural traditions, diverse landscapes, delectable food, and total solar eclipse. Arrive to Casablanca at any time and transfer to your hotel. Meet your fellow group members at the welcome meeting in the evening and get all the important information about the adventure ahead.
Days 2-1: Chefchaouen: The Iconic "Blue City"
Head north and watch the landscapes transform, from farmland to small villages. Keep an eye out for large stork nests perched atop buildings and mosques. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you'll instantly be captivated by its charm, with picturesque alleyways bathed in varying shades of blue. Drive to Chefchaouen with a stop on the way for a traditional roadside lunch. Take a CEO-led orientation walk through Chefchaouen and enjoy a free evening to choose from one of the many great restaurants or join the CEO at their local favourite.
Days 3-2: Chefchaouen: Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
Join us this morning for a once-in-a-lifetime Solar Eclipse Viewing Party in Chefchaouen. Witness the incredible moment day turns to night in seconds, and toast to the sky—the path of totality won't return to this region in our lifetimes. This morning witness the total solar eclipse during a the tour operator-style eclipse viewing party in Chefchaouen. This lively event will feature music, delicious food, and cozy lounge areas to watch the magic. The afternoon will be free for you to explore as you choose. Discover the Medina of Chefchaouen, walk around the beautiful blue alleys, or choose to join your CEO for a sunset walk from the Spanish Mosque. Perched atop this tranquil sanctuary, you'll be treated to a symphony of colors as the sky transforms. Dinner will be at your leisure this evening.
Days 4-3: Fes: The Roman Ruins of Volubilis and Meknes
Today, travel from the Rif mountains to the plains of Fes and discover why Morocco is a land of beautiful landscapes. Witness rural life unfold as you pass through traditional villages and lush farmland, preparing you for the next experience: the discovery of Roman ruins and Imperial cities. From Chefchaouen, travel to Volubilis for a guided tour of Morocco's finest Roman ruins. Afterward, visit the Imperial city of Meknes and enjoy an included traditional lunch before continuing to Fes, where you'll arrive in the evening.
Days 5-4: Fes: The Lively Medina
Stepping back in time, you'll find yourself amidst the beautiful chaos of Fes' ancient medina. Embrace the frenetic energy as you navigate its maze-like alleys, sharing space with locals who have shopped here for a millennium. Make way for the occasional donkey and immerse yourself in an experience unlike any other. Explore the historic medina, renowned for its vibrant tanneries, with your CEO as your guide. Try to retrace your steps as you navigate the labyrinthine streets. Conclude your morning with an authentic lunch at a traditional riad. The afternoon and evening are at your leisure, offering the option to delve deeper into the medina or return to the hotel to relax.
Days 6-5: Bin El Ouidane: Picnic Lunch in Near the Atlas Mountains
Today offers another day of stunning scenery. Journey from the plains back into the less-traveled Middle Atlas mountains, where you'll discover an authentic Morocco. Enjoy frequent stops at viewpoints and villages, stretching your legs and capturing photos of the beauty around every corner. As you approach Bin El Ouidane, prepare to be captivated by the water's splendor before settling into your tranquil lakeside hotel for the evening. Travel from Fes to Bin El Ouidane, stopping for a scenic picnic lunch en route. Visit Ain Asserdoun before arriving at your lakeside resort. Settle in, relax, and enjoy a peaceful tea experience before dinner at the hotel.
Days 7-6: Bin El Ouidane: Your OMG Day
Let your interests and energy level guide you today as you have the choice of 2 fantastic and different activities while in Bin El Ouidane. Choose to hike to a massive natural rock formation resembling a cathedral and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the landscape. This geological wonder, sculpted over eons by wind and water, showcases the Earth's history, with layers of sedimentary rock narrating tales of ancient seas and shifting continents. Or delve deeper into the local culture with a delicious lunch in a family home. Choice of 2 activities today. Hike to Imsefrane Cathedral or delve deeper into the local culture and have lunch with a local Amazigh family, learning how they make their traditional bread. In the evening there will be free time to view the sunset on the lake near the hotel.
Days 8-7: Marrakech: Into the history of the Souk
On your travels to the lively city of Marrakech, prepare to be captivated by the natural beauty of Ouzoud Waterfall. Marrakech itself is a vibrant tapestry of energy, history, and stunning architecture, truly embodying Morocco's rich diversity in cultures, people, and delectable cuisine. Immerse yourself in the city's ancient historical quarter and explore the bustling marketplace, where you can hone your bargaining skills among souvenirs, enthusiastic shopkeepers, and enticing food stalls. Today’s highlights include a scenic drive to Marrakech with a stop and short walk at the stunning Ouzoud Waterfall. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in a guided walking tour of the city’s historic medina, culminating in a visit to the ancient Saadian Tombs. Conclude your day with a delightful farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Days 9-8: Marrakech
Today your adventure comes to an end, but the memories made during your time in Morocco to see the total solar eclipse will live on forever. Depart at any time.

ACCOMMODATION NOTE:Please be aware that properties we stay in with only two stories may not have elevators installed and climbing the stairs with your luggage will be necessary.WEATHERPlease note that the climate in Morocco can be both very hot during the day in summer months (up to 50°C) and cold at night in the mountains in autumn, early spring and winter (down to -6°C). Summer months, from April to September are very hot throughout Morocco. Winter months November to March can be cool to cold, especially in the Atlas Mountains, with high probability of snowfall. Most Moroccan buildings are not equipped with heating, so without proper layers you will be cold at night. Please bring appropriate clothing for the months in which you are travelling and check temperatures before you leave. RAMADANAccording to the lunar cycle, Ramadan will fall between Feb 28th - Mar 29th 2025, and Feb 17th - Mar 19th 2026. Please note that Ramadan is a month of fasting observed by Muslims throughout the world, during which time the followers of Islam should not eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. There may be some limitations to services and disruptions to schedules during Ramadan, but generally our tours still operate effectively during this period and food is available to non-Muslims throughout the day. It is very important to display increased cultural sensitivity during Ramadan. Please wear loose fitting clothes, that cover knees and shoulders, and try to avoid eating, drinking or smoking in public out of respect for those who can't at that time.

What to Take
You will be on the move a lot, so our advice is to pack as lightly as possible. Your baggage should be clearly labeled and restricted to one soft compact suitcase or sports bag on wheels, maximum 15kg, plus a daypack. Luggage limits on airlines are strictly enforced and space on vehicles is limited. Porters are not often available, so be prepared to carry your own bags.It is important to pack clothes for warm to hot days and cool evenings. A set of smart casual clothes is also advisable.
