When to visit Corfu
The best times to visit Corfu are between the months are May and Mid October because the weather is god, there are plenty of flights available and all shops, bars and facilities are open.
July and August can get very busy (and a tad more expensive due to high demand ) as school holidays are on and very hot of course.
If you can go outside of these months then you're getting a little better value, less people but all of the facilities.
During the months November - March many places and hotels close down for the winter season and the flight become less frequent. You can of course visit during winter - it's not typical - but possible.

What to do in Corfu?
There are a lot of things to do in Corfu! Most people visit Corfu for a break, often a beach break or time in a gorgeous villa. During the summer months with guaranteed sun it really is a wonderful place to visit.
Parts of Corfu are famous for the nightlife (Kavos for example) which is aimed very much for the younger crowd.
However, apart from the obvious beaches and nightlife there is a lot more to Corfu.
Exploring the UNESCO site of Corfu Town is a lovely day out, wandering the back streets and discovering local tavernas and shops.
Although little known there are wonderful hiking trails in the hills on the west side of Corfu. If you want to get away from the resorts and into the peaceful woodland and lush green hills then this might be a perfect escape for a day. Checkout https://www.komoot.com/ for some ideas.
The Canal D'Amour is one of natures wonders. A natural inlet surrounded by rocks and joined by underwater caves. Here you can swim and snorkel in the crystal clear blue waters.
A day visiting Mount Pantokrator which rises 906 meters will provide magnificent views! All roads lead to the summit but there is a good hiking trail from Perithia, a small local village.
If you or your children like animals then a day visiting the Donkey rescue centre. This centre is a safe home for Donkeys that have been abandoned or are homeless. The sanctuary lies in a beautiful landscape with olive trees with a beautiful mountain back drop.
La Grotta Beach is a wonderful attraction for a day too however, this is a rocky beach so don't visit and expect to sunbath. If you go for a dip though you'll see a wonderful array of colourful fish and beautiful rock formations.
Sitting around ten kilometres outside of Corfu town, finally we'd recommend the Achillieion. An old grand villa, Sisi, which you can step inside. This was once the home of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.

The Holiday People Financial Protection
At The Holiday People we give you full financial protection.
Simply, when you make a booking your money goes into a sperate business account and stays there until you go on holiday.
Your money is separated from the money we use to run the business. Your money enters into either a Trust Account or Client Account pending what elements of a holiday your booking.
This means that we will always be able to refund and even if, for some reasons The Holiday People failed, you'd be able to get a refund or go on holiday because your money is separated from the business.
The Holiday People offers some of the most comprehensive financial protection in the travel industry. Many travel companies do not offer the protection we do so even if you don't book with us, please do check how you are protected!
We hope this makes sense!
