Rhodes is easily accessible during the summer months from the UK. There are frequent flights from many UK airports direct to Rhodes between May and October. Rhodes has only one international airport lying on he east of the island.

During the winter months flights are far less frequent and many facilities, hotels and stores are closed. Access is possible but via Athens rather than on a direct flight from the UK.

Once you've arrived in Rhodes getting to your accommodation is easy via either a transfer or a hire car.

Rhodes is south east of the Greek mainland and is actually closer to the Turkish mainland than Greece itself lying just south of the Turkish resort of Marmaris.

The island is on of the most southerly and so typically boasts warmer weather throughout summer.
